This Privacy Policy explains how Bhaarath Tools (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information through the Bhaarath Tools mobile app and its associated admin panel (together, the “Service”). The Service is a business-to-business (B2B) ordering platform for dealers and contractors purchasing Caltex hand tools, power tools, abrasives, and accessories. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and phone number, collected when you register (via email/password or Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication).
• Business information: business name and GST number, if you choose to provide them, used to identify you as a registered dealer/contractor.
• Delivery address: the shop or delivery address you save for order fulfillment.
• Order information: products ordered, quantities, prices, order status, and order history. Orders are settled offline — we do not process online payments or collect card/bank details through the Service.
• Loyalty program data: loyalty points earned through completed orders.
• Support requests: information you provide when contacting support through the app.
• Device and push-notification data: a device token used to deliver order and account notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process orders through our request → accept/reject → dispatch → delivery workflow.
• To send order status updates and account-related notifications.
• To administer the loyalty rewards program.
• To respond to support requests.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent misuse.
• To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting record-keeping.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that operate the Service on our behalf, and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and push notifications.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — application hosting and image storage, in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bhaarath Tools, our users, or others.

Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Order, invoice, and loyalty-transaction records are retained after account deletion as business and accounting records — see “Your Rights & Choices” below for what specifically is and isn’t deleted when you delete your account.

Your Rights & Choices

• You can view and update your profile information from within the app at any time.
• You can delete your account from the app’s Profile screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your Firebase sign-in credentials, your account profile, your cart, and your wishlist. Your order history, loyalty transactions, and support tickets are retained as business/accounting records and are no longer linked to an active account.
• You can disable push notifications at any time from your device’s settings.
• You can contact us at bhaarathtools@gmail.com with any question about your information, including requests to access or correct it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our servers and role-based access controls on our backend systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is a B2B platform intended for business owners and contractors and is not directed to children. See our Children’s Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
